Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process of working with you like?

Each project that I take on is entirely custom, so there's a lot that goes into it. You can learn more about my process here, or here on my blog

Will I see my invitations before printing?

You'll see mock-ups as well as full digital proofs of each piece. You'll have the chance to review and approve these after each stage of revisions.

How many extras should I order?

I recommend having several extras for your photographer, keepsakes for you and other family members who may want them (parents, grandparents…), and in case any invitations get lost in the mail. 5-10 extras is generally smart.

Can you just provide me with digital files for me to print?

I am a full-service stationer, so I handle the process from design all through production. I do not create Invitation or Save the Date designs for clients to print on their own. This allows me to ensure the best possible quality printing and assembly...so leave all the work to me!

However, if you’re working with a stationery and need artwork, see the next question…

I’m working with a stationer, but I need custom artwork. Will you provide it?

Yes, I am always open to providing artwork and collaborating with other stationers!

What can I expect to spend on custom wedding stationery?

Each project is custom, and so is the pricing! Generally, couples will spend between $1500-$3000 on Save the Dates, and $2500+ on Invitations. Pricing depends on a variety of factors including the quantity, number of pieces in the suite, the printing method, and any upgrades and embellishments you may be interested in.

What’s does the timeline look like for custom invitations?

The design, production, and assembly process for custom invitations takes 3-4 months to complete.
