Why I’m Loving Versachalk’s New Colorful Chalk Markers
Today, I am so excited to be giving you my thoughts on Versachalk’s bold and vibrant new colorful chalk markers! Versachalk generously sent me a set of each of their brand new color sets: Pastel and Vivid! I am loving both sets, and I’m about to let you know why!
Versachalk kindly sent me a set of their liquid chalk markers in both Vivid and Pastel colors. They also sent me their cleaning kit, which is a must, especially if you’re working on a chalkboard!
Bold, Creamy Colors
Perhaps the number one feature of these new colorful markers is just that: the new colors themselves! In the past, I have used white Versachalk markers and loved them, but they’re really leveling up with these gorgeous, creamy colors. The shades are beautiful, unique, and fun, and the opaque quality of the ink is versatile and really packs a punch.
Easy Holiday Windows
I added a little bit of Holiday flair to the bay windows in my kitchen this year with Versachalk’s white chalk markers. So while I’m loving the new colors, white does offer a classic look that’s great for Christmas-time!
Dual-Tip
Something really great about these markers is the dual-tip feature. How does it work? Simply take the tip out of the pen (it comes out very easily), flip it, and put it right back in. You’ll have access to either a round tip or a chisel tip, giving you a variety of line weights to work with! I suggest keeping a paper towel handy to use to flip the pen’s tip, so you don’t get ink all over your fingertips!
The chisel tip allowed me to make thinner lines, adding some subtle definition to the leaves and center of these flowers.
Full Coverage
I was so impressed by how creamy and opaque these colors were. When I tried them out on a mirror surface, the color glided on without any streaks. It was not only super pretty, but also very satisfying to work with, too! These are so easy to use, it’s a dream!

Versatile Uses
As an artist, I work more on paper than any other surface, so you may think, how are chalk markers going to fit into my regular practice? And that’s what I love about these markers, they allow you to do so much more than just fill a chalkboard with fun! I saw on Versachalk’s instagram that there are a list of different uses for their markers, and I knew I had to get creative! I had a variety of paper mache ornaments on hand, so I thought I’d try handpainting one with my new Versachalk markers, and I absolutely loved the result! Again, I was impressed by the vibrancy and coverage of the ink, and it even covered up my pencil sketch really well! I ended up covering the artwork with a layer of a glossy top coat, and I’ll cherish it for years to come!
The ornament I created of my new home is one I’ll cherish for seasons to come!
Sparks Creativity
Another thing I love about these markers is that they really encourage me to be creative in my space. I love that I can just write on a window or a mirror and not have to worry about it being permanent. They are a great tool for holiday decorating, temporary decor, entertaining and hosting, and just for fun little messages to yourself or your family!
After trying these on my mirror, and creating a timeless ornament, I really can’t recommend these markers enough!
